Executive Director ~      David Nangle

David Nangle, a former Massachusetts State Representative, is a founding leader of Stop iGaming in Massachusetts, a registered 501(c)(4) nonprofit.

David represented the Lowell-area in the Massachusetts House of Representatives from 1999 to 2020 and soon became an Assistant Majority Leader. His career ended as a result of a long-term addiction to gambling. David has committed himself to working with those impacted by gambling addiction and to using his voice as a leading advocate on gambling addiction and recovery.

In addition to his work with Stop iGaming in Massachusetts, Nangle is active with Massachusetts Council on Gaming and Health as an advisory panel member. He also works as a Certified Recovery Coach, focusing on gambling addiction services and regularly engages in public speaking and advocacy efforts, telling his story as a cautionary tale.
